Geography is a critical part of matching candidates with clients. I use Google Maps Engine to help with this, but it requires an excel export and then import to work, and it has limits to the amount of data (unique entries) it can map
My workaround is a custom multiple choice field for each candidate. I have to create a new geographic location as they become available and select the applicable locations in each candidate profile. This is so that I can query which candidates should be shared with a particular job order.
I’m not sure a geographic mapping platform is the answer. But it would be nice to have a better way to pick an address and then create a list of candidates with that title within X miles of that location.
I looked deeper into this and remembered I could search by distance from zip. This is a really helpful feature that I will be taking more advantage of.
