Some Hiring Managers are lazy or do not action when a candidate is sent to them in a timely fashion. Although a proper escalation system would be nice, an easy work around would be tracking how many times a Recruiter presses the “Send Reminder” button against a candidate.
Perhaps some type of counter right beside the Send Reminder button against that job, or some type of counter on the line of the job, or something like that seems the easiest to do.
The goal would be when the counter reaches whatever you define as a limit before escalation, you would action that to upper management. Recruitment is about speed and Hiring Managers need to take ownership for slow responses times.
